Sunrise Mall is — in skateboard lingo — flipping over its latest signed tenant.

The Citrus Heights mall has landed Vans, the skate shoe, accessories and apparel company.  Vans is scheduled to open in September in the space formerly occupied by Max Rave, a clothing store that closed last week.

“Vans brings more depth and breadth to Sunrise Mall’s shoe category and will open just in time to catch the tail end of the back to school shopping season,” Christi Woodards, Sunrise Mall’s general manager, said in a news release.

Vans also has stores at Arden Fair mall and Westfield Galleria at Roseville, and it has an outlet store at Folsom Premium Outlets.
