Sunrise Mall is proud to host the 12th Annual Zumiez Couch Tour presented by Zumiez on June 2, 2012 from 12pm until 6pm! This FREE event is open to everyone! The Zumiez Couch Tour will feature skate demos from the Plan B, Almost, Enjoi, Toy Machine, Zero, DGK, Girl, Flip, Volcom, Real, Supra and KR3W skate teams. There will also be live music performances by bands including We Came As Romans, Set Your Goals, The Wonder Years, The Cab, A Skylit Drive, The Classic Crime, Conditions and Daytrader. Prospectors who flock to the site can stake their claim on a mother lode of prizes and giveaways from tour partners Neff, Oakley, Skullcandy, Transworld SKATEboarding, and Ustream. The events also feature skate team autograph signings, an interactive festival area and a day full of fun, all free of charge.

One of the City of Citrus Heights' most popular events year-after-year is the Annual Red, White & Blue Parade, scheduled for Saturday, June 23rd. The 13th Annual patriotic parade starts at 9:00 a.m. and proceeds along Sunrise Blvd., between Madison and Greenback (from Uplands Way, north of Madison, to the northwest corner of the Sunrise Mall parking lot near Greenback Lane). Stick around for fun festivities including the annual Rotary’s Pancake Breakfast, the Farmers Market and more!
